"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Where And When?
We gather on Thursday mornings Labor Day through Memorial Day in Cumming at the The Hall & Hound Brewing Co. on the corner of Freedom Parkway and Piglrim's Mill Rd - off of exit 16 on GA 400.
Let’s spend this time together bringing John 14 from ideas to real life—especially as men living in a world that tests our hope, peace, and trust. We’ll walk through some reflective questions and invite honest conversation around the table. The table leaders will toss out a question, you share your story, and we’ll wrestle together with what Jesus is offering.
Where Is Your Heart Troubled?
Jesus begins, "Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in Me." For the disciples, trouble meant betrayal, fear, loss of certainty—and maybe for you it’s job stress, relationship struggles, or uncertainty about the future.
Can you remember a time where anxiety or disappointment felt overwhelming?
Jesus doesn’t promise instant fixes but invites us to trust Him in the middle of heartache. How is that different than what the world offers?
Jesus’ Peace vs The World’s
Jesus brings a profound peace to the believer that transcends circumstances and human understanding. Unlike the fragile peace offered by the world—peace that depends on success, comfort, or the absence of trouble—Christ’s peace is rooted in His unchanging presence and promises. In John 14:27, He says, “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you.”
This means as believers we can experience deep reassurance and calm even during turmoil, knowing that Jesus Himself has overcome the world and that His Spirit remains with them. Christ’s peace guards hearts and minds, offering courage, strength, and hope regardless of outward circumstances.
Have you seen Christ’s peace change you during a time when circumstances didn’t improve, but something inside shifted?
Walking Out Peace
Walking out peace as a Christian man means actively choosing to live in obedience and dependence on Christ, even when circumstances are uncertain or pressures mount. In John 14:31, Jesus says, “but I do as the Father has commanded me, so that the world may know that I love the Father. Rise, let us go from here.”
This is not a passive experience—Jesus demonstrates peace by acting boldly on His Father’s will, facing darkness and opposition with unwavering confidence. In the same way, believers are called to step out in faith, to move forward not in the absence of trouble but in the presence of Christ’s authority and the assurance of His love.
By listening to the Spirit, following God’s Word, and responding to life’s challenges with courage and surrender, a man models the profound peace Jesus embodied - peace that does not retreat, but stands firm and goes forward because it trusts in the Father’s goodness and sovereignty.
What’s one area you want to trust Christ alone—not just in theory, but this week? Let's name it, commit to it, and ask God for His peace now.
It all begins at 7:00 a.m. and wraps up by 8:00 at our gathering spot – 1920 Freedom Pkwy., Cumming, GA. 30041. Doors open at 6:30, coffee and light refreshments are available.
I hope to see you there!
