"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
-- 2 Timothy 3:16-17
What Are We About?
Challenging Men To Rightly Apply God's Word To Their Lives
How Do I Join?
Just Show Up!
Where And When?
We gather on Thursday mornings Labor Day through Memorial Day in Cumming at the The Hall & Hound Brewing Co. on the corner of Freedom Parkway and Piglrim's Mill Rd - off of exit 16 on GA 400.
Hey men!!!! I’m pumped about spending Thursday morning with you as we tackle James 1:22–27—a powerful call to
apprenticeship to King Jesus!! James doesn’t mince words. He lays out a clear path for everyone serious about following
Jesus:
hear the Word,
obey it
help others do the same.
We’re titling the study “The Blessing Is in the Doing” because that’s exactly what James promises: real blessing comes when
faith moves from our heads into our hands and feet.
On Thursday we will:
1. Examine how passive listening can deceive us
2. Face the mirror of Scripture and respond with action
3. Discover how obedience—far from being a burden—unlocks freedom and blessing
4. Encourage one another to live out compassion, integrity, and authentic faith
Come prepared to wrestle with your own “hearing vs. doing” gaps and to spur one another on toward genuine transformation. Bring
your Bible, your questions, and your willingness to step into the kind of faith that reshapes lives—starting with your own.
It all begins at 7:00 a.m. and wraps up by 8:00 at our gathering spot – 1920 Freedom Pkwy., Cumming, GA. 30041. Doors open at 6:30, coffee and light refreshments are available.
In HIS GRIP,

Key Verses:
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.” - Matthew 7:21
“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and DOES them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock…...
And everyone who hears these words of mine and DOES NOT do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the
sand…..” - Matthew 7:24,26
“For no good tree bears bad fruit, nor again does a bad tree bear good fruit, for each tree is known by its own
fruit. For figs are not gathered from thornbushes, nor are grapes picked from a bramble bush. The good person out of
the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of
the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.” - Luke 6:43-45
“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in
righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” - 2 Timothy 3:16-17
“We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands.” - 1 John 2:3

As part of our mission to walk with God and encourage others to join us, we’re expanding our presence on social
media and YouTube. This will allow us to reach more men, especially those who may not be able to attend in person.
Your help is essential! Please subscribe to our YouTube channel, follow our social media pages, like and share our
posts, and invite others to do the same. Together, we can share God’s word and inspire more men to walk with Him.
Let’s take this step to grow our impact for His glory!
As we reach the end of the season, don’t forget their is still opportunity to stay connected, while digging into the word.
Many tables continue to meet throughout the summer, to continue support each other while applying God’s word. If you’d like
to stay connected, ask your table leader what plans are for the summer.
While it doesn’t take much financially to run our program, every bit helps. We look to not
only provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for all, but also reach men in the
community who could benefit, as we have, from the teachings and table talk that so enrich us.
As we are now officially a 510(c) organization, any donations are tax deductible. In addition to our “Donations” basket,
you may also donate through this link:
